Went in with a big group, and most of us have not tried Cuban before. The coffee was delicious, the empanadas were perfect. Literally everything we ordered was flavorful and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

If you're looking for a new experience away from American cuisine, this is a great place to try. This is a Cafe experience who caters to a Latin crowd and not necessarily English. With that said, we had big portions for the price, friendly and welcoming staff, great ambience of Cuba. If someone is used to a certain look/feel, it's going to be new but food was good.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (10/10) Everything was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The food was flavorful, well portioned, and clearly made with love. I tried: • Chicharrón (Fried Pork Rind) perfectly crispy, rich, and satisfying • Pizza de Cebolla (Onion Pizza) cheesy, savory, and surprisingly addictive • Batido de Mamey (Mamey Smoothie) – creamy, tropical, and refreshing • Yuca Rellena (Stuffed Cassava Fritters) golden and crispy with that classic Cuban comfort feel From the first bite to the last sip, you could taste the authenticity. The service was warm and welcoming, and the presentation was beautiful (definitely photo-worthy ). If you’re craving bold Cuban flavors and a no-miss menu, this spot is a must. I would 100% return and recommend to anyone nearby! ****the only thing negative is the smoothie was not covered for delivery transport.

Very nice Cuban restaurant. We tried many things such as Arroz Congrí, roasted pork, skirt steak with onions, fried cassava sticks, pork sandwich, and the churros for dessert. Excellent service. Recommended.

I'll give it a 4 more for the service. I wasn't crazy about not having a menu and not having a description of foods they serve, therefore prices are not known until you pay. I like transparency. This was my 1st time I've been to a Cuban restaurant so I didn't know what to order. We were brought a plate of nicely ripe cut up avocado so I assumed it came with the meal but was charged for it. The food was good but I'm used to heat to Hispanic meals but that is not common for their meals. The carnitas (they call it something else) were good as well as the tostones. I could of eaten a plate full of the crispy tostones.

La Milagrosa - Grand Island stands out as a genuine slice of Cuba nestled in the heart of Nebraska. This vibrant restaurant at 102 W 4th St invites you to step away from the usual and immerse yourself in rich Cuban flavors and aromas. From the moment you walk in, the air carries the enticing scent of freshly brewed Café Cubano, a bold and sweet Cuban coffee that sets the tone for an authentic experience.

The menu is a treasure trove of classic Latin American dishes, with highlights that leave a lasting impression. The Pizza de Peperoni is a unique twist blending familiar comfort with Cuban flair, while hearty plates like Black Beans and Rice with Pork Steak topped with golden Fried Plantains bring deep, soulful tastes to the table. The Mofongo, a traditional mashed plantain dish, offers a comforting yet robust flavor that resonates with the island’s heritage. For lighter bites, the Sándwich de Pollo and Sándwich de Jamón y Queso showcase the perfect marriage of tender meats and soft Cuban bread, embodying simplicity and depth simultaneously.

What truly elevates La Milagrosa is how every dish delivers bold, authentic flavor without overpowering balance. The chicharrón is beautifully crispy and rich, offering a satisfying crunch that jazzes up the palate. The pizza de cebolla surprises with its cheesy, savory edge, making it addictive in the best way. Even the beverages contribute significantly: the tropical Batido de Mamey is creamy and refreshing, a vibrant complement to the hearty fare. Greek-inspired yuca fritters, or Yuca Rellena, stand out as golden, comforting bites, perfect for anyone seeking that classic Cuban feel.

Beyond the food, La Milagrosa delivers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to linger and savor. The staff’s friendliness and attentiveness reflect a true passion for sharing Cuban culture through cuisine. This is not just a meal; it’s an experience that connects you to the spirit of Havana right in Grand Island.

Whether you’re a Cuban cuisine novice or a seasoned fan, La Milagrosa offers generous portions and flavors that impress with each visit. Its blend of authenticity and approachability makes it a rare gem—one that I am eager to return to and recommend to anyone craving genuine Cuban flavors beyond the typical American menu.
